Week of September 5-11, 2004       

Cataract Little Loop opened the NYFL season with a 3 team sweep of the Tonawanda Football Clinic.

Qadree Ollison threw touchdown passes of 50, 62 and 54 yards to Keith Stephens, Jalen Parris and K-Shawn Sistrunk, while Joseph Medley had a 35 yard run and Zyer Harris had a 13 yard run for touchdowns. Patrick Custode caught a 2 point conversion from Ryan Daal to round out the scoring as the rapids won 34 – 0.

Defense was the theme for the Sevenson Allstars. Imani Davis had 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery, Leon Butts recovered a fumble and Rasheen Williams an interception.

On offense Jalen Crumpler threw a 18 yard touchdown pass to Quadry Gray and LaDondra Crittenden had touchdown runs of 25 and 15 yards, while Crumpler and Jakarius Crittenden had extra point conversions as the Allstars won 20-6.

The Cataract Apollo Steelers defeated the Tonawanda Redskins 51-0. Kyle Howard returned a punt for a touchdown and threw touchdown passes to Branton Shine and Howard Welch. Alfonzo Maye, Laricus Crittenden, Michael Vails and Justin Healy all rushed for touchdowns. Howard Welch, Shine, Jabrille Traylor and Bruce Hartinger all scored extra points. The defense was led by Darius Sykes, Darrien Payne and Jordon Meehan with 8 tackles each. Kyle Howard also recovered two fumbles.
